OVERVIEW

Usually when customers buy products from your store, you’ll want to solicit reviews from them so you can use the reviews to attract more customers.

The After Purchase Mail feature of the Kudobuzz Reviews app automatically sends out emails to your customers after they have made purchases from your store.

Setting up your After Purchase Mail

To set up your After Purchase Mail, follow the steps below:

  1. On your dashboard, click on Curate Reviews from the left menu panel

3. From the Curate Reviews page, scroll down and click on After Purchase Mail.

The following are areas you can edit or change:

-- BUSINESS NAME AND EMAIL

You can edit your business name and email from here. The business name will be used in the signature of the review request emails that go out.

2. SET APM STATUS

The After Purchase Mail has an ON/OFF button that allows you to control whether you want the mails to go out automatically or not. For instance, if you decide at some point that you don’t want mails to go out to your customers when they buy from your store, you can turn mail status OFF.

3. CUSTOMIZE WHEN MAIL GOES OUT

You can set when you want your after purchase mails to go out to your customers after they purchase a product from you. You can select the number of days after which the mail should be sent. You can choose between 1 and 30 days.

4. SET EMAIL SEND CRITERIA

Over here, you can let us know when we should send the review request emails after an order has been made.

When you set to After Purchase Mail, the day count begins right after the purchase is made.

When set to After Fulfillment, the day count begins only after you have set the order status to fulfilled.

5. EMAIL CUSTOMIZATION

Edit your email subject. The email subject will be the subject of the email your customer receives to leave a review for you. You can make use of any of the available variables.

Edit the body of the email. The body of the email should be written so as to convince your customer to leave a review. You can make use of any of the available variables but make sure to keep the default {{review_form}} variable intact.
